How it all started
Nadia, co-founder of Her Crowns carried cherished childhood memories of accompanying her mother to bustling markets, where they would select vibrant and eye-catching fabrics. These fabrics would later be transformed into beautiful garments by her mother’s skilled hands, using trusty “Brother” sewing machine that has faithfully served them for over three decades.
Nadia’s mother was a sought-after dressmaker, known for her ability to create stunning outfits from embroidered, sequined, and colourful fabrics sourced from all corners of the globe. Her clients would entrust their prized fabrics to her, seeking custom-made attire for casual wear and special events alike.
Captivated by her mother’s craft, Nadia’s interest blossomed at the tender age of eight. Initially, Nadia’s mother taught her the art of creating fabric buttons using a manual hand button machine. Gradually, she introduced her daughter to the intricacies of hand stitching, guiding her as she hemmed necklines with a pin and thread. Finally, the time came for Nadia to put her newfound skills to the test, as she excitedly crafted her very first colourful fabric hair bobble using the familiar “Brother” sewing machine.
As the years flew by, Nadia’s passion and expertise grew. She began personalising and tailoring her own store-brought garments, adding her unique touch to each piece.

It was during this time of self-discovery and creative exploration that the idea for Her Crowns was born. Nadia envisioned a boutique that went beyond the conventional norms of fashion, offering a curated collection that celebrated individuality and empowered women to embrace their true selves.
Teaming up with like-minded individuals who share her vision, Nadia brought Her Crowns to life. Together, they hand selected fabric that exemplified quality, style, and versatility whilst Nadia designed the clothes. Their goal was to create a haven for women to discover their own crowning glory—their personal style that would make them feel confident, beautiful, and ready to conquer the world.
